Yoga, means to yoke, to connect mind and body together. But whilst this connection between mind and body is so important to our wellbeing, the connection goes further. Connection to nature, the earth from which we ultimately have come, and to other beings is also key to our wellness. So, at the heart of Our Wild Souls is community, and the activities that we can take part in together, giving you the chance to meet like-minded people.

Book Club

Our monthly book club explores literature not only about yoga and the philosophy of yoga, but also books venturing into nature, spiritual healing, shadow work, breath, mental health, energy healing and trauma. Essentially any book that helps you dig deep and makes you feel good. We meet at the Cokeworks bar, grabbing a drink and then spending an hour or so sharing our views and interpretations of the monthly book as well as taking advantage of time to socialise and connect.

Our Extended Community

Our Wild Souls loves to collaborate with small and local businesses. We’d love for you to find out more about them and support them as well! Find links to their socials or websites below.

Darren creates the most mouth watering dishes and is passionate about the food he cooks. It is technically his hobby, although we think he should do it full time, but Darren caters all our events and retreats and has even catered a few weddings!

The Cokeworks Bar

The Cokeworks is a small bar located in Beddau. It is cosy and welcoming. Simon stocks a range of local and Welsh ales/beers but also has the most delicious coffee and hot chocolate for those of you who prefer somewhere to relax in the day time. Oh and they host the best pizza nights! This is where our monthly Coffee and Flow is held.

G Nature and Wellbeing

Geraint travels around South Wales hosting sound baths and forest bathing. His workshops are super relaxing and he is our go to facilitator for sound baths on our retreats.

Raquety Farm and Larchwood Studio

The beautiful Larchwood studio is located at Racquety Farm, run by the amazing Claire and Aubery. The studio is absoluely stunning, set on the river, surround by woodland,  in the town of Hay-onWye. Our first ever retreat was held here and our Rewild Summer retreat will also be held here this year.

Garlic Meadow Small Holding

They produce the best homemade, goat milk based soaps and hand creams- they’re a favourite for our retreat bags!

Nicola Evans Yoga

Nicola was my first ever student to attend a class and she’s stuck with me ever since. Yoga is one of her greatest passions and this lead her to complete her own training in 2023. She now runs her own classes in Pontyclun.

Gina. v. tattoos

Gina is not only one of the most talented and kindest people I know, but also one of my best friends. She has been tattooing for nearly six years and I have been honoured to watch her art grow. She is also hosting her first drawing workshop on our Spring Retreat in May. Hopefully it will be the first of many!

Blue Hill Flora

Perched on the top of a hill just outside of Pontardawe South Wales Blue Hill Flora grow seasonal cut flowers. Rhiannon not only grows the most beautiful flowers, and endevours to have a positive impact on the earth, but also runs fabulous workshops- which we will be collaborating on later this year.
