FAQ’s

What do I need to bring?

Most students like to have their own mat, but we do have spares if you need one. All other props are provided including blankets, foam blocks, bricks and straps. You may want to bring water and ensure you wear clothing that you feel comfortable in.

Where are classes held?

Class are held in various locations, mostly in Llantwit Fardre and Beddau. Please drop us an email or DM for exact address if you are unsure.

I have never practiced yoga before and am a little nervous. Is it still ok to come?

Of course! All our classes offer a non judgemental space and are filled with beautiful supportive souls. Sequences are modified to make them accessible to everyone. All students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and focus on what feels good rather than getting the pose ‘right;’ the emphasis always being on taking care of the body and the mind. Your nerves will melt away once you’re settled onto your mat, with our wonderful community, however if your anxiety is very strong please feel free to discuss how Our Wild Souls can support you further.

What training does the teacher have?

Jess has completed 200 hour vinyasa training at Stretchy Suzies, Cardiff. To continue to expand her knowledge she has also completed 50 hours teen yoga and 40 hours children yoga, 50hours yoga for anxiety and 50 hours restorative yoga. She is also first aid trained and is a mental health first aider. In 2024 she plans to expand her training on breathwork and cacao facilitating.
